To mark the end of the „Still-Leben“ exhibition, KiS – Kunst in Seefeld hosted a panel discussion with Michael Ziegler, the artist behind the delicate floral paintings. Collector and gallery owner Rafael Jablonka and cultural manager Gerald Matt spoke at length with the artist about the motif of flowers, which is one of the recurring themes in his work.

Dabei erfuhr das Publikum, wie die Gemälde entstehen, welcher Technik sich Ziegler bedient und warum. Vom Auswählen der Blumen über das Arrangieren in einer Vase oder einem Glas bis hin zum Malen mit Wasserfarben zeichneten die drei den Weg von der Blüte aufs Blatt nach.
